Shannon loves finding something everyone wants and needs, so her new project, creating cocktails her friends can enjoy near and far during quarantine, was right up her alley. She spent endless nights looking up recipes, always thinking of the beet infused tequila in a margarita she drank years ago in Texas. This sparked an idea in Shannon. How can she infuse alcohol like that restaurant did? Whenever she thought of infusing flavors, she thought of her best friend Samantha. Sam would always infuse her water with lemons, limes, and sometimes strawberries.
After cracking to code to easy and delicious cocktails. Shannon wanted to share with everyone, so on the weekends you can see her at various markets. Shannon loves connecting and creating a community. McKinnon’s Cocktails has become Shannon’s way to build a community and bond with people, even during a pandemic.
