60 grams of active sourdough starter. This active starter is fed with filtered water and organic bread flour. I double bag it and suggest you transfer it to a jar or crock for long term storage. This starter has been fed in the last 24 hours. once home, transfer it to your container and feed it. I feed at 25 grams starter, 25 grams water and 25 grams flour. It should double in size within 2 hours and is ready to use in your recipe.

Hens are in a large coop with constant access to a large outdoor net covered run to protect them. It can be used in any recipe calling for lemon juice or lemon zest and pairs exceptionally well with chicken, fish, and roasted vegetables. Store fresh sprigs of Lemon thyme loosely wrapped in a damp paper towel and sealed inside a plastic bag in the refrigerator for up to two weeks. If the fresh leaves have been removed from the stem, they will keep in a sealed container in the refrigerator for up to three days. Dried Lemon thyme will keep for up to six months in an airtight container.

This blueberry switchel uses a little less vinegar, and the sweetness of the fruit and maple syrup (instead of honey) helps balance things out. It is naturally sweetened, full of electrolytes, non-alcoholic and fermented with apple cider vinegar. What is this apple cider vinegar switchel drink? Switchel is a drink that originated in the Caribbean and later became popular in American Colonies – although New England also holds some credit to its origin. Supposedly, this drink was served to farmers during the summer months to help them stay hydrated - and Haymaker's Punch was coined. Made with raw unfiltered apple cider vinegar WITH “the mother”, raw honey (or other sweetener), fresh ginger root, fresh lemon and filtered water. Serve over ice. Can be topped with club soda for some fizz.

A delicious tea made from organic dried herbs including Sumac, marshmallow root, Nettle leaf, mullein leaf, hibiscus,lemon balm, cinnamon, ginger root, cloves, basil, peppermint leaf, elder flower, raspberry leaf, elder berry, yarrow flower, fresh lemon and fresh orange, water and local honey. Store in the refrigerator. Shake well before using. Usage: Adults take 1 tablespoon three times a day. Children take 1 teaspoon three times a day. If allergies or sinus irritation is severe, take 3-4 tablespoons ever 2-3 hours for 48 hours. This is not intended as medical advice, just sharing how I use this tea. Do not use if allergic to cashews or Mangos.
